Identity & packaging label design
Evolving the identity of a prestigious, history-rich estate at the southern tip of the Rhône Valley is a delicate undertaking. For Prieuré Saint-François, located in the Côtes du Rhône Signargues appellation, we created a brand identity composed of several elements that come together to form a new visual language that is both profound and contemporary.
The new Domaine Prieuré Saint-François brand block preserves the historic vertical composition, but new typographic choices bring readability and elegance.
We complemented this central element with a new medieval-inspired badge—designed without heaviness, however—bearing a powerful message: Alma Rhonea (The Soul of Rhône Wines), accompanied by the founding date of the century-old estate.
The vine, also present in the historical design, has been reworked in a more distinctive style.
Jean-David Camus has done a masterful job for our family estate. Whether it comes to the brand or the packaging of our wines, he has struck the perfect balance: preserving our heritage, moving upmarket, and building for the long term..
